vhgmcbuddyMemberSounds like a good project Alan, and would work out cheaper than 6 car batteries !!
I have managed to acquire some Elec Trak literature from you know where, sods law not on the E10M though, there’s info on the E8M and the larger models…

vhgmcbuddyMemberyes Ray I spotted that as well. .its just worth knowing as when it comes to trying it out in the garden next door,as I will have difficulty manovering here, any teething troubles will probably be associated with this governor. Was lucky to get the use of an industrial steam cleaner before the Christmas break and have managed at last to get the rolling chassis squeaky clean. now it looks as if the end of the shed will have to be removed to get it in.

vhgmcbuddyMemberthanks for the info of your experieces with this type of wheel combination. I suppose the different climates between G.B and AUS makes all the difference to how you go about your farming globaly. But I will add that using any machine in over wet conditions will ,like you say pick up soil/mud and also cause a ” PAN” effect in the soil structure once the tractor has passed along a given route.

vhgmcbuddyMemberInteresting the putting together bit Clive, I remember seeing some were on the net, assembly instructions for the F 28.
No you don’t see F300s now or the F28s, One problem with older Hondas you can’t get parts to keep them running, so a lot will be scraped. I see on a parts list the shaft you mentioned is marked obsolete, mind you the price was still on it £98 00 so that would make anyone think if it’s worth doing. I see there’s quite a few parts still evaluable for the G150 engine apart from an exhaust, but that shouldn’t be to much of a problem. Is yours the earlier 2 speed or the model F400 that’s got two speed and reverse. When I used the F28 I was surprised what power the 67cc engine had. This G 150 is 144cc / 3.5 hp must up to the gob, I hope to find out.December 25, 2013 at 5:58 pm #4518

vhgmcbuddyMemberThanks for your words of wisdom gents, I do have a split pulley in the shed which might do the job, I will have a look when next out there…
I am familiar with this sort of belt as a larger version is used on some veteran motorcycles…
