Rain,Rain etc drives me to the shed. not a bad place to be ,I am sure we have all been there. RANT OVER ! well have the engine back together. was not such a big job once the carb was sorted. all electrics checked and cleaned plus the new on/ off switch.went the whole hog on the switch by getting the waterproof gater cover. also just remembered a new fuel line as the old one was petrol stained and brittle. Just need to get the other part of machine here to rub down etc.if this weather keeps up it may have to wait as its that big it most certainly will not fit in the workshop.

If I spray wheels with the tyre on. I cut a piece of card to fit the rim and cover about a third of the tyre. This can be moved by hand as I spray, you need card that’s just thick enough to handle.

I have taken bearings out before blasting and i wanted to knock them of the rim but The tyres are that perished the would fall to bits but strange as it seems they all hold air. They wud split if i took off but plan is to get the project on a roll then when ita done ill consider new tyres.
