Thanks to everyone who popped in to see us in the marquee. There certainly was a diverse range of machines this year without too many duplications, at last they seem to have the selection process sorted out.
We could have sold club regalia, but sadly we were unable to get it down to the show this year, but don’t forget you can order it through the ‘Cultivator’ magazine.
Yes the wet conditions were a problem for punters and exibitors getting around on the site, it could have been a lot worse! At least it washed the dust off our awning from last year.

Several of our machines are able to run static equipment from PTO pulleys etc, dynamos, tarpenflex implements, saws, soil shredders etc, if they are well guarded and behind rope/fence I can see that it would be even more interesting than just a stationary machine and more interesting than a stationary engine with no equipment being driven.

Come and say hello in the Club marquee, there could even be a cup of tea and a chat for weary show goers.

    Hi there.
Are you sure it is a Drayton diesel? as they did fit a Sachs 500 to some late clifford mk 4 machines. I would have thought the Drayton was a bit big and heavy for a Clifford.
A lot of Ransomes MG crawlers were fitted with Draytons, I am sure an MG crawler enthusiast will be able to help you.

    Hi there.
You should be able to obtain the necessary parts from Jon Cruse, The Mower centre, Hailsham, East Sussex. he has vast stocks of obsolete and hard to find parts for oldar machines. (01323 843447) daytime, or through his website.

You could try club member Tony Skingley I know he has one but not sure if he has stripped it down.

    Hi Chris
They look in pretty good order, usually the tyres are totally bald, I guess they are three antelope units, should cover the ground quickly.

    Hi there
I have found a carby it is on an old twin cylinder gem engine but looks servicable, probably need a good clean up and jet adjusting for the smaller BJ engine, I will get it off over the weekend and report back to you.
