It sounds to me that the clutch is slipping when you try to start the engine with the crank handle. I would suggest you check that there is a little free movement on the clutch lever as you start to pull it up, if not, there is possibley pressure on the clutch thrust causeing the clutch to slip. Thank you for advice on throttle rods. There are no joiners on my tractors, someone had obviously bent one of the rods,so with a bit of bending they are both the same now .

Hello I’m new here with a new hobby.over the past year l have bought two Trusty’s with a number of implements.
