Does anyone have any information on a West drayton 2 stroke diesel engine ??
We have obtained a clifford with this engine which we believe was owed or taken over by clifford the engine is compleat but in bits (aint they always ) and any info on this engine would be of help

Hi there.
Are you sure it is a Drayton diesel? as they did fit a Sachs 500 to some late clifford mk 4 machines. I would have thought the Drayton was a bit big and heavy for a Clifford.
A lot of Ransomes MG crawlers were fitted with Draytons, I am sure an MG crawler enthusiast will be able to help you.

Hi chris thanks for your info yes its def a drayton and yes its a very heavy/big engine i will try to locate through the ransom side but as i say just cant find anything about the company but i believe someone in wales has all the old stock of parts
