    Hi,
just bought a nice old series 1 gem with british junior engine and finally got a great spark, only problem is half the carb is missing (float chamber and jets) so does anyone have an amal 225/3 carb for sale? or know of another type i could use,

    Hi there
I have found a carby it is on an old twin cylinder gem engine but looks servicable, probably need a good clean up and jet adjusting for the smaller BJ engine, I will get it off over the weekend and report back to you.

Quick thought !! is the carb a two bolt flange type? as my one does not bolt it just slides on and has a jubilee type clamp to hold it on with.
