My Iseki MC1 has a switch on the handlebars that does the same job.

Its the engine stop button. It goes to the magneto and earths one side of the points to stop the engine. Phil

Managed to get it back on its wheels today, so I can now move it around to make room for some more work on it..

Thank you paulmackellow. I wonder if somebody can help me. I’ve got a kind of switch on the left hand arm/handle with a very thin electric wire leading from it. But when I got the rotavator, it didn’t lead to anywhere and was just wrapped around the bottom of the left arm. From what I can make out on the switch, it says ‘0’ and ‘1’ on it. I’m probably showing my complete ignorance of things mechanichal but what’s this and where should it go? I’m not sure if it’s to be seen on Stuart’s photo althugh I can see a slim wire running along the bottom of the left arm on the first photo but I can’t see a switch.

yes kev i think this will be a briliant site, and i will give you all the suport you need, what i realy liked was they listen to the exibiters needs and then act on them, that does not happen very often these days i am sure you will pull it off ok 😀

I got a full set of new washers to restore my Sheen flame gun, and it works ok, but I wish I knew how to stop it leaking fuel from the on/off tap, I lose more from there than out of the nozzle when its burning! there must be a way!

You are correct about the name BOYT, they were a supplier of U.S. army leather work in WW2 in the days before we became the only country in the world to ban target shooting with Hanguns, I had a .45 Colt automatic pistol in a leather holster marked BOYT, I have seen this name on other American military goods over the years.

When I entered I took my exhibit down on the Friday evening after work. As its fairly local to me I didn’t camp though. Often would be to cold for my liking.theres some b&bs in Malvern or a travelogde in Ross about 25mins away.
