That’s good for price, the last time I used chains was on my ford 100E. Just a thought are they as good for front wheel drive cars, I remember they use to flap around a bit. Hopefully in Devon I won’t need them.

In view of it’s history it hasn’t had much work for years, saw bench wouldn’t be to taxing. I presume it’s got the BMC diesel engine, I think the early ones had a Perkins engine. when you take it for a run don’t be afraid to rev it, in other words give it a blow out.

Cheap enough at that. Could possibly be cut down to fit our snow ploughs.

I only stumbled on the paint by pure chance Owen. I was told that sample pots where for sale after the paints had been developed for old buses, trams and commercial vehicles which also included steam engines. I went down to see what colours they had and they where wall to wall in half lire tins. from then on I will not go anywhere else.

I’m with Charlie. I’ve been in this position quite a few times in the past and used this old trick with some success.
It bypasses the carb so it will tell you if you’re looking in the right place. It may even clear a jet with the draw from the cylinder when it fires.
    Good look.

Getting there now, pleased to finish the spraying. Seeing I don’t have the proper facilities the colder weathers against it. The wheels are not to bad, they will get sorted next year.
