Hello Mike
I have not been on much lately so only just read this. I can’t help with much info on the Europa, the Crawler Tractor Scrapbook part one only mentions it briefly. The Europa looks to have been made between 1960 and 1964. It is described as having a 3 cylinder 32bhp engine, four bottom rollers on each track, 155″ long, 61″ wide with 12″…[Read more] -

Hi Iain
Here are the photos of my MG5 showing the cover and toolbox. The dimensions are in the PDF file.
The cover looks to made using 16 gauge steel sheet. I have not given dims for the toolbox lid, it is a clearance fit over the top of the toolbox. The lip round the side is approx 10mm.
Hope this help.

Hello
I haven’t been active on here for a while and somehow missed your post when just browsing the forum. If you can wait until the weekend I can take some photos of my MG5 showing the cover and tool box.
Well done on getting your MG up and running.

Hello
I have a Bristol 10 in my collection although it has not been run in quite a number of years.
I can’t help much with info on the 20’s but there is a good book out there that covers the 10.
It is called ‘The history of the Bristol Tractor 1932 to 1947’ by Geoffrey Stannard.
ISBN 0 86332 820 2 Have a look on eBay or Amazon and you should find…[Read more] -

I can’t believe anyone on here would object, they are just variations on the MG crawler. I for one would like to see any updates you have.

Congrats on completing your quest, you will have to open a museum now to display them all.
Did you get any photos of the MG6 with Demon loader? -

That looks a great machine. The rear lift looks to be the same design as the MG40 I have. Did it have something mounted on the front? The plates at the side of the engine bay look like mounting points.
Are you going to do a full restoration or just give it a going over with an oily rag?
Out of interest what make of hydraulic pump does it have?

Hi Graeme
We use either my 7.5 ton box lorry or twin axle flat-bed trailer behind Land Rover. I would definitely recommend a trailer with brakes. If you get a plant trailer it will usually have built in ramps and be lower than most other trailers which helps loading and unloading. If getting a flat-bed or other trailer don’t scrimp when it comes…[Read more] -

It’s good to see your machine being used for it’s intended purpose. I’m sure you had an enjoyable time, I know I would have. How did the hydraulic pump perform, does it have enough flow for you to work the boom and stick together as you would on a mini digger?

Hi Derek, unfortunately my BMB is still a long way off from being finished. It had stood outside for many years, it was completely overgrown with briars. I had stripped it down and had started to sort it out when I got sidetracked by collecting Ransomes crawlers. I’ll get it finished one day (hopefully).

Hi Tony, I’d like to be able to attend but I’m over in Northern Ireland so it would be a bit of a trek.
Look forward to seeing some photos of your new machine. Those 2 machines will make a very nice display.

Hi Tony, well done with your new purchase. From the photos it looks to be in very good condition. Can you put a few photos up of your new Troy? Did it have a plough fitted?

Hi Derek, it certainly looks a very purposeful machine fitted with those dual wheels.

Hi Tony
I don’t know if you have seen it, but there are a couple of photos of a Troy Tractivator in the general section of the forum. On the second page of the ‘Tractor World’ post there are a selection of machines from the auction. The handles look to be of a similar design as to what you need for your machine.
