vhgmcbuddyMemberThanks for that, It looks like the one in the Allen catalogue for the “F” but as you say seems to have been modified, it will be easy enough to put on two more square bars, and I have a depth wheel from a model ts cultivator, I just couldnt work out what the angle plate was for.

vhgmcbuddyMemberYes there is, but not all on the net/forums

vhgmcbuddyMemberAh, another one of my ex allen attachments!!
Right. It is for a Model F machine, BUT you have the depth wheel missing.
Looks like its been adapted in the past to fit another machine. Not an Allen. That plate will just bend if used in anger. The bars which that plate it bolted to are not long enough for a model F.
Bit of a bitza. Never noticed it when I had it. Came with a job lot, which in turn sold to Ade, the guy you brought it from!

vhgmcbuddyMemberThis swings over and stops the clutch engaging without relying on the clutch cable I should think to aid easy starting .

vhgmcbuddyMemberWonderful doc
I’m very surprised with the prices: can one explain what means these two or three numbers?June 28, 2014 at 6:26 am #8819
vhgmcbuddyMemberPeter
If I understand well this is an inside gearbox (147 in the book)which wears two bearing and the one in the bottom is hard to take off: you must have a special tool to do that, ask a mecanic or a garage worker
Or you talk about the big wheel bearing.
I join a pic, so you can put a sign to show where is the difficulty
regards

vhgmcbuddyMemberIf you read the original instruction book that went with the Auto Culto “Autogardener” and the “Junior” you will find they did not have an adjustable throttle control, there is no mention of such a control in the instructions and none in the spare parts list, both mdels used the Villiers Mk15 engine with the overhead valves, the only control cable on my machines is the clutch cable, but someone will have more detail than me.

vhgmcbuddyMemberBy the way, if you meet someone able to talk about a fantomatic factory in Buckfastleigh, named Gravely overseas, which produced pedestrian singlewhheled tractors between 1940 and 1960, let me know!!
I’ll be very pleasedThank you
