Here is picture of my rear tiller attached to my 1972/73 Gravely 816 with 16.5 hp Onan twin. The tiller is shaft drive, hydro lift. I bought the tiller used in very rusty shape. I rebuilt the gearbox and repainted it. It works well and is handy to have in the springtime. I will make a video of it in action.

Yes sir, It could be very bad to fall on it. The picture of the screw unicorn part is in the transport/use position. There are two most effective ways to use it, one is like the video position and the other is on its left side so you can roll the logs up to the splitter. I will have to make another video showing it working that way. I have back trouble and other health reasons so I can’t bend over for very long.
They make other screw splitters that can be bolted to the drive wheel of autos/trucks. There are videos on youtube others have posted.

That sounds great. Might be a week or so before I can get over, but I will certainly take you up on that offer.
Can you email me on raycollins2@btinternet.com with your address please and I can sort out the details.

    Many thanks,

    Ray

It looks like Mr. Doogan did a fine repair on the spark plug threads at a fair price.

Firstly Glenn many thanks for your help. I am in the UK, seeing I had difficulty finding this part used. I did look in to new prices, RCPW seemed to be a good price so I got a price for shipping $ 53. The part and shipping worked out £2 more than new in the UK. I tried the sites you mentioned but nothing used at this time. I will give it a bit more time to find a used one, Seeing this shaft is not all that complicated, it might be possible to get one made. I have the same part on my W H 512D, so if I could get that one off for a pattern. Might be a lot easier just to buy new. Will let you know. Thanks Again Owen.

I don’t know where you live, but the part is 41.35 USD = 38.4010 EUR If you don’t use EUR then this won’t help.

Hello owen, in regards to the lift part you are looking for, is there a right and left side, front or back? Is there a difference between the 42″ and the 48″ deck lift parts? I’m here in the states and if I can help you I would be glad to. Did you try pigironparts.com , wheelhorseforum.com Glenn

They are handy for weighing my parsnips, my neighbour was a farmer when he was alive, the family filled up 3 skips after his death with his lifetime of collecting, I was given a few of the better things !
I’m not sure if salter scales are still in existence, does anyone know what a large set of scales like this would have been used for ?
They have the magic ‘Made in England’ on them !

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8yeo6x4B_w Here is a video of a Thackery Unicorn Log Splitter bit that fits into the shaft drive rotary power head. The power head has several parts that allows you to do ditching work, boe holes in the ground to plant trees/bushes, plough up the earth for gardens. I will be post pictures and videos of other attachments for my Gravely as time goes by. I hope folks like what they see and comment about them. Glenn
