Kev , Coleby has come to a standstill at the moment , what with work , and busy on allotments time seems to do a vanishing act.
I’m confident it will be up and running in time.

Look like a 16H model , they were fitted to Landmaster (150 model I think) rotavators , can’t recall seeing them fitted to anything else. I’m sure some of the lads on here will know of more.

Stuart , I’m certain it’s not distorted , besides which the fuel level would not be that high anyway, plus it’s leaking from round the bottom.
    It’s on a Coleby Cultivator.

Stuart , it’s coming from around the carb itself , not from the choke.Mine does not have the “tap” in the manifold , I’ve adjusted the main jet in to no avail , and the gasket is A1.
Iam truly baffled over this one.

Sten , the valves have been refaced and seats re-cut.

    Thanks again chaps.

Back in the day when I dabbled with a few stationary engines , I usually tried to apply as much heat (carefully) as I dare , then knock the flywheel “on a bit further” and use a quality key drift to then remove the key.
Not much use if the flywheel has been incorrectly fitted , in that it has been driven fully on , and the key then fitted , it’s then as you say………drilling etc etc.

Many thanks for the replies , it appears I should have called Paul at Meetens in the first instance , being a tight wad, Zenith direct are around half the price.
