Any of you learned Gents on here know how an early Rowtrac clutch drum comes off. I’m thinking it’s either splined or on a taper. I’m reluctant at present to use a puller as it’s cast, plus the clutch is actually stuck, the one on the spare transmission that came with it is slightly different in that it has three holes in the drum , the one I’m trying to remove has no holes.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks Andy

Looking in the parts list for the later type it would appear the clutch is on a keyway but I cannot see how it would come off. Plenty of penetrating fluid (not WD40) and some heat maybe the answer. For the clutch to work the outer needs to be able to slide freely on the shaft.
Not sure if early clutch is the same.

Panic over , it was on a keyed taper , VERY luckily a very light blow with the toffee hammer and it flew off.
    Clutch all working A1.
    Again many thanks

    Andy.
