The 24T2 is a very widely used carb , I don’t have the info at hand , but it is available , it will give you the jet numbers according to varying applications.
One tip is to disregard the main jet and replace it with the variable one , you can then compensate for wear in the butterfly ,(within reasonable limits) which is a common fault. Google up Zenith spares and you should find a host of suppliers of spares.

In that case discard the plug cap and connect HT lead DIRECTLY to plug.

What type of connection are you using from HT lead to plug.

ALWAYS try for a spark DIRECT from the end of the HT lead , if you have a suppressor fitted remove it and check for a spark directly from the end of the lead.

From memory all Mk12s had a 14mm plug fitting, along with later Mk10s , early Mk10s had 18mm.

Set points to 020″ , you will need to source a cover , is it two or three screw mounting.

Have you looked on the points hosing cover , it’s usually given on there.

The wire you’ve highlighted goes to the points ,(in this instance directly onto the end of the condenser) the other uninsulated wire is Earth. Try wiring it up correctly , make sure your points are clean and set , and see if you have a spark.
A modern replacement magnetron coil should be available , which will eliminate the need for points and condenser.

Another option is to try some of the Govt surplus stores , those that have been going for some time bought hundreds of these , and numerous spares..well worth a try.

“IF” we are talking about the small charging sets , I’ve always known them as the CHORE horse , never heard of them as IRON horse.

Choose a reputable dealer on the auction site , message them with your engine details/numbers and they will sort you.
