vhgmcbuddyMemberThanks Stuart,
To be honest I don’t see the Engine causing much trouble. More the gearbox and back axle that will cause more of an issue.
Cheers,

vhgmcbuddyMemberHi Alan,
Sorry not to reply sooner, but I’ve been away with work. Great of you to reply and thanks for the leaflets – both very relevant.
Those leaflets are interesting and they have some similarities to my trailer, and some differences.
I have learnt elsewhere that the wheels were a Martin Markham unique feature in that the rims can be bolted inside or outside the centre flange to alter the tracking width.
I’ve found that there is an archive of Martin Markham literature at the University of Reading, in their archive of Museum Rural Life. When I get the chance, I’ll make an appointment and view the records.
You’ve made me think about visiting some local agricultural dealers again now I’ve got more information as that may generate some leads too.
If you think of anything else, please do let me know.October 10, 2017 at 10:57 pm #26830
vhgmcbuddyMemberGday All, Does anyone know where i can acquire a parts manual for the landmaster hawk?
Or is there someone that can give me dimensions of the tiller dog clutch, to have it made.
Also id like to know if there are springs that hold the dog clutch.
Anyone know where these parts maybe available?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

vhgmcbuddyMemberGday Busman, To Replace points With electronic modules,
Disconnect wire from points(primary wire from coil) & connect to (+)Positive terminal on electronic module.
Make a lead from the (-)Negative Terminal to the screw that you will use to earth(screw) the electronic module to frame.
Good Luck

vhgmcbuddyMemberPleased to see you’ve made some progress. I don’t know how it sounds, but would it improve with driving about. Give it a bit of a blow out. Be nice if you can sort this engine. I’m hopping for a dry October. Owen.

vhgmcbuddyMemberHi vdub10
I’m new to the forum and I know your post was some time ago. Did you fabricate the exhaust yourself and how did you fit the air filter please ?
