vhgmcbuddyMemberCharlie, thanks.
‘Gently’ and ‘hammer’ two words that I don’t often use in the same sentence…
I’ll try on Friday and report back.

vhgmcbuddyMemberI felt that the “pond” was the sea or the Channel but I live so far from Calais (500 miles)
anyway If you want to come you’re welcomeNovember 27, 2013 at 7:07 am #3464
vhgmcbuddyMemberThanks John, Yes the pond is on the premises, about 10 years ago my two sons wanted to dig this pond. So we hired a digger and the boys did the rest, They got carried away and it ended up twice the size I had marked out. I hope you get that museum one day, from what I’ve seen on here of your machines they are certainly worth putting on show.

vhgmcbuddyMemberStill struggling with this.
I think that the alloy pulley has fused to the steel pin. It wouldn’t be a drama but for the fact that I need to get into the gear box to find out why there is so much play (https://youtu.be/-lUgvWyEZC4).
I have taken all the bolts out of the case but it shows no signs of coming apart. I am loathed to hit is as it is cast. Can anyone tell me how to get this blessed thing apart? The time when I need to christen the snow plough is closing in and the present wife will never let me live it down if I’ve spent all this time and we still have to dig ourselves out by hand!!!

Thanks for the information.

Thank you too. I’m in S W Wales. I’ve got a neighbour who used to teach mechanics coming round tomorrow to take a look at it so hopefully he’ll be able to help.

vhgmcbuddyMemberWell done owen, and I am impressed with that well kept pond. Is this on your premises,if so you are a lucky guy.the one thing I most would like in my house or closely attached to it is my own museum,so I can lay out my ever growing collection, instead of it being locked away from view.

vhgmcbuddyMemberThanks Nigel, Now I have here for all ATCO restorers the paint code for old ATCO GREEN. These numbers do not mean anything to me ,but if these are produced to a paint mixer of good repute and standing will get you the final colour. 1202007813 . I got this in Mastercraft polyurethane. our thanks go to ANGUS [ WRISTPIN ]
