    Hi Yes this is running and is completely restored.
    Briggs & Stratton engine dates to 1943. I have the plough attached and a set of discs and spare engine (non-runner) also.

    Nice to hear from you, and thank you for that information, My education now almost complete! I cant believe I have had this hobby for so long and never came across this ignition system, I simply had no idea! shows the value of this club, with all the wealth of experience in it, Thanks again.     Hi

    Thanks for the reply, I understand there are three different areas that need to be filled with gearbox oil, in some areas the drain screws are on top so do you need to suck the oil out with a pipe and fill it up until the oil comes out of the oil level screw? Do you know how much oil I would need, would I get away with a 1l bottle?

    Hi Andy thanks for your reply regarding the carb on barman it does run ok and every thing else works as it should I think for what little I shall use it I will leave it as it is.But I’m interested
    to know what machines would these b10 carbs have been on if have have any ideas many thanks joe.

    Thanks Charlie. Found a spring that works as had bought a clutch lever spring 512 which I got to fit ok. Clutch engages fine and stays engaged, which it didnt without the spring. It still appears to need reverse pull on handles to disengage. Does this mean it is out of adjustment?
    Also, does slip clutch wear over time and is there any adjustment on that?

    The only thing I find on the magneto is a kind of motionless button, screwed on another screw. There is a spring between both, but I don’t understand its role since nothing moves…
