Sean it looks as if your magneto is a 977B. Geoff is this the same as the magneto on your engine? If not which one do you have? This might help clarify the differences, I do have some data for these mags.
Only a few days left to catch this on i player. The mowers start at 27min 10sec. All I will say is that knowing where the collection is stored, don’t believe all you see on the screen! Yes I also know where the pub is.
They would be a great find, I was very lucky to come across 24 issues of Allen’s magazine on that auction site some years ago. Interesting to see the title of the Clifford magazine. I think there was also a Howard newsletter. These are all an area of literature that probably gets overlooked.

It might be worth contacting Hayter regarding numbers, they were very helpful when I made enquiries about a manual for a very early (1959/1960) Hayterette. They were also very pleased to know it was still working.
That is nice, always good to see some of the attachments for these machines. Looks like a couple of the photos need reloading as file size is too large.
Electrolytic corrosion where aluminium and steel is a major problem on things like Land Rover especially when salt is added. One problem painting aluminium is getting a clean surface, an etch primer is essential.

Do you know which Albion gearbox it is? How many forward gears and does it have reverse? I have parts lists which give a bit of additional information about the gearboxes, HR, H, HJR and HJ, EJ, and AL.
