A very good point. If there is a ring parade we try to take part, have even tagged on the end of tractor display before. An ideal set up would be one of our machines with a saw bench attached and working. Another good way to attract interest is to have a ‘workshop’ area and let people see some members working to get a machine going, nothing better than an engine that wont start to attract a crowd.

Don’t think I have seen one with a stand before, more they usually have a counter weight to keep handle upright.

Have not seen any of the articles in person (too tight to buy a newspaper) but a work colleague did ask if I had seen it and he was amazed at the size of the mower.

I believe it is a lifetime season ticket. Will hitch up trailer and arrange a raid,visit. I guess Mr Wallingfield will be looking for help repacking everything.
