I think it needs someone to win the lottery and get a batch of 6.00 x 22 made, there must be a market for them, if the price is right.

11000 was a worldwide figure not UK only. Might be worth contacting the SIMAR website( Alain Charles )

The figure of 11000 Rototillers is I suspect a worldwide figure as UK production of the 35 and 56 was a long way short.

John, your renewal was received on 31st Jan 2015 ( renewal notices went out in Nov 2014 and membership year ends 31st Dec) and was processed on 7th Feb, insurance card is in the post, I cannot be responsible for any delays caused by Royal Mail. If you check your PayPal or bank card you should see that the money has been taken out.
A renewal reminder will be sent in Feb to any members that have still not renewed. Paid up members will get the Feb issue of The Cultivator.

Phil, thanks for the warning and glad to know you will be OK. I am always wary of any electric shock. Another danger of getting a shock is the instinctive reaction to move hand or whatever away from source of shock. As an ex BT engineer a common cause of injury was the tags of terminal blocks at telephone exchange. Working on one terminal block and getting a shock (only 75v ringing current) would result in hand flying back into tags of adjoining block, ouch. See photo for example of situation.

One observation, it does not appear to be intended for heavy work. The metal between handle and body of fork seems rather light. Could the two loops be used as a leverage point?
