My 1953 Mk12 with a series 4 cutter certainly did, There’s quite a loading on the scythe unit, so two belts would prevent slippage.Having said that my Merry Tiller has only one belt and it cuts OK….
I’m well chuffed, turns out the vendor is chairman of the Somerset and Dorset Railway Heritage Trust, based at Midsomer Norton South Station. I went there on 21st December and had a ride on a steam train….
In addition to the bits advertised he found the shaft that converts the hedge-trimmer into a scythe and the home made cable reel. I’ll have to see what duplicates I’ve got! Tarpen oil and grease were in the box as well…. 🙂
One make of sprayer I haven’t got or it may be that they only put labels on syringes and they get rubbed off. Sprayerman or Steve in Bed may be able to help….

The Teagle bike engine was the same as the Jetcut one apart from a friction roller instead of the pulley, a clutch to drop it onto the tyre and they removed the starter pulley and replaced it with a badge….
