    hello. thank you all for the help. I fitted the new coil and fitted the new gas pipe and she fired up a dream at weekend, runs nice and the genitor works to, I was wondering if any of you would know what things this would of run when in service? as it runs at 24 volt 20 Amp.

    Handle bars and stays as well as the tank bracket have been stripped and painted and I must say they do look well. have had a look at the original tank bolts and not sure if they can take another 60 years. I have some bolts here see bottom right of photo,do you think they are up to it ???

    Not just a pretty face then,when you have a spare hour or two make them in different sizes and put them on the unmentional one.that little basket would be about £11 on the bay. well done

    reason for being slightly exited is I bought one of these for ten pounds so my grandson and myself could restore it together as his first project. might I add that this one belonged to a chunkie male body builder and when I asked him how long he had been using it he said about 12 years. I did not feel brave enough to tell him that he had been using a ladys mower in public without knowing it. am I a coward or what !!!
