vhgmcbuddyMemberYes owen, green is the way to go on these little mowers. this paint which I use is very versatile because no matter what the weather, one way or another you can get it on whether you spray or brush. brushing is my preferred method as you can get more on in a shorter time span. managed to get this chaincase covered today. the shine is so intense you can see me in it taking the photo.

vhgmcbuddyMemberengine now well on its way to being finished. have discovered that if I keep a good distance from the item to be photographed the item is green rather than pink. now if you have not been following this thread you will think I am cracking up or have been drinking heavily with this last statement, but to put the record straight have had issues with camera in flouresent light.

vhgmcbuddyMemberwelcome to our new forum Trosher. nice to see the humble Lister D being restored. static engines are a little thin on the ground on here at the moment, but some of us have projects ongoing and I know that there are some like yourself in the process of restoring. Not sure where you are in the country, but this year at Newby Hall Nr Ripon there is a special section dedicated to R A Lister engines, and I will be going to boost machines. there will be in excess of 120 engines and working stands. I can not wait as its one of the best shows in N, Yorkshire.

vhgmcbuddyMemberNo! I had a call from him today saying it had arrived!
I said are you happy with it??
He said NO!!
Whats wrong with it then I said
He said its the wrong year & my attachments dont fit!!
Opps I thought, should have done his home work & found out. How do I know if his attachments will fit my tractor.
He did say that he should have asked for the serial no & found out.
Any way its gone!

vhgmcbuddyMemberHello Titch
Thank you for the decals but presently I don’t need them as I have got only an american 1937 model D and a friend of mine, overthere, uses to do some.
I live pretty far from Artois, but if you plan to go here you’re welcome. Il love to share with people
