vhgmcbuddyMemberandy you may be correct. its just I heard it from someone that it was a rebadged Kawasaki engine. as you have had one of these in the past was the petrol tank white ? I know the newer ones are red. its just so I get the combination right for showing. thanks john

Thank you, I have been and got ,a gallon of Morris ground force, sae 30 oil.So going on my Villiers book it says half a pint of oil to a gallon of fuel.or four measure’s with the cap.??

vhgmcbuddyMemberYes, I admit I forgot once and tripped it off, but it was in the daylight, and after a lifetime of shooting it was of no concern to me, but, you have to think of the thing going off in the middle of the night with a bang from a 12 bore that will wake the village! these thieves have to operate in silence, they are not going to hang around if they trip one of these off!

vhgmcbuddyMemberOn the strip down I found to my amazement that it had been working with what looked like pea soup both in the tank and carb. This had to go and a full clean out had me busy for 2 hours. Besides that a tray of leaves was also removed from the belt guard. once inside the air filter which was spotless I removed this to find that the carb was like new. This makes me think that the filter system is top notch.

vhgmcbuddyMemberandy I am another slipper wearer and I to have had things happen in the shed. the most appealing thing with them is the comfort factor which helps when under stressfull times or painfull times as you have found out.

vhgmcbuddyMemberoh andy dont say that, you make me feel guilty…… hope it gets better soon. i broke my little toe while wearing safety boots, the 1 toe that is not protected when wearing said “safety” boots
