    hi all, still taking entries for this event. we also have a working area so if you would like to exhibit just let me know and i will send you the entry forms.so far we have a great versatiller display, wheelhorses, a holder, a colbey(made in kent) a 100 year old weeks dungey hop tractor, hand tools including seeders, hoes and a collection of smaller hand tools, a ransomes crawler, auto cultos, anzani iron horse and motor hoes, colwoods and more….. well done and thanks to all who have entered so far

    Charlie,making a good job dispite shelling out for the new items which it needed. the finished restoration will have been expensive ,but worth it.

    As always I do everything back to front, I made a nice set of gaskets before I asked .
    I will try and update forum during assembly .

    Hi Charlie,
    I’ve been waying up the rebuild and on looking at the parts list can not find a gasket between the gear cases and I must admit when I took it apart did not find a lot of material . Did they just use sealer ? I have made a new gasket but are scratching my head now.

    Any thoughts

    hi the splitter could be easy,as I saw a log splitting head mounted onto a car rear axel and that was the power drive to make it rotate and split the logs. Maybe one fitted to an atom wheel jacked up clear of ground would do the same thing.

    The bonsor was missing the optional extra front bumper. Made a replacement this afternoon. Waiting on filters and need to fit the exhaust that has arrived today.

    Ref the splitter – I am going to set up a belt driven screw type table arrangement. There are loads of examples on YouTube driven by washing machine motors so how hard can it be…?
