Just double check your carb. Better to make sure before you order.

Hi. This is a my flo jet carb, is yours like this. I got the kit on Ebay old stock. If you Google Briggs flojet, it will give you lots of advice. This kit would be no good if your carb is a different type.

Hi, I have had trouble with flooding on Briggs flo jet carb on my Merry Tiller, spent a lot of time fiddling with no success. In the end I fitted a new carb kit end of trouble. The float position on my carb is level with the carb body, needle just seating.

    Hi Chris
I will try and take some photos of it and post them so you can see what it looks like
That might take a few days as I don’t have it at home.
    Then I will ring you

All back together now after straightening tinwork out and cleaning fuel tank out, I did this by putting some stones in and tiring it to the inside of the drum of my belle cement mixer , I kept vacuuming out muck then fresh stones ,I did this a few times then cleaned out with thinners came up like new inside. Since then I have stripped down rotorvator and cleaned up the bearings so turns very free now . I am going to leave the paintwork till next season once I know everything works ok .

In my original email to Scott Lambert I asked who he wished articles to be sent to if he wanted them in future, 9.30 yesterday evening I received an email asking them to be sent dirctly to him

Steve W I agree with all that you have written above, having organised many events over the last few years the maxim is true that the loudest moaners are the ones who do sweet FA towards the event !!

Thanks for the welcome gentlemen. No problem getting it in the garden…..backed it in and drove it out – that was 7 years ago and I needed a place to try it out – garden seemed a likely spot. I’ll post a topic in the pedestrian section, thanks again, Rick
