Steve. Please contact me with your MG40 details for the Ransomes register
that I am trying to set up. Machine no, Engine no, Engine make, and fuel used.
Thanks mate. Dave.
My old Dad had a fork much like that one minus the two riveted rings
but with the flat tines. He always called it his potatoe fork and
would always use it when digging up the spuds in the garden.
I hope that this may help. Dave.
Is the chap on the circular saw wearing a tie? what a h&s
issue that would make today. Great to see the style of clothes that
we were wearing in my youth. Might be a new idea for the club working
weekend at Weeley, A V H G M C fashion parade. Mmm food for thought.
Hugh, I believe that the two MG2s were in the west country and the
gentleman In question would like to find them. Re your missing
no give me a land line.
Hi Steve, When you get a moment can you please send me all the details
of your MG6 for the Ransomes register. If you have a problem with
oils try Morris Oils, they are always very helpful. Dave.
Hi Joe, I would be very grateful if you could send me copies of the Whitlock
and Demon paperwork for my own collection. I would of course refund you any
costs.
Re the idea of a Ransomes MG owners get together why not. Weeley in September
may be a good time as I am always trying to do different things as well as
ploughing. I know that Weeley is a bit out of the way being in east Essex
but we can offer all visitors a warm welcome and a large field to play in.
If any other MG owners have any ideas lets hear them and see what we can come
up with.
Dave Clark.
Try ultrasonic cleaning the carb, I have found that this often works.
If not a small squirt of petrol straight down the throat of the carb
may help and fresh petrol is a must.
Please send details of the machine no to me for the Ransomes
register that I am setting up.
Dave Clark.
