Hi all been on ebay and got a 1940s to 1950s
Clifford model A rotavator in good condition for age . with jap mk5 engine not used for years . i have cleaned out carb . and tryed with new petrol. Just getting back fire or blowing through carb pos stuck valve . but will take head off on monday. Odd thing is its got a hand throttle. Looks factory…[Read more] -

Now got atco running fitted a good drive chain add fuel and good battery nice to have electric start and amp meter works . used the atco yeasterday moving fire wood around
Next job to fit a 26″ deck from a mtd ride on to fit -

1980s atco 8 32 have picked up have got deck to retro fit hopeing to get running soon . -

Today got engine running and driving around the garden needs some tuning on carb.
By the look at it pos 1960s. Tecumseh engine pos 5 to 6 hp. The other mower is a mtd. With 5hp briggs engine -

Hi dermic1 it has been leaking from r/h side standing in front of the machine.
I may need thicker oil . What oil do you put in . I am going to re engine the farmers boy with a mk 12 engine. It has mk15 high speed .

Hi all took my farmers boy to little ellingham working weekend topped up the oil and it leaked what seals should i get. And how easy is it to do .

Got simar running today all is ok . Had enough fuel for 10mins of run time . Egg cup of water came out but exhaust manifold has craked more
It has been welded in past.
Will run a weekend -

Hi all just got simar out of its shelter
Today and a leak in shelter side has fild up the engine full of water.through the exhaust
Have drained the water out do i take the spark plug out and then fill the engine with oil then drain out. Engine still turn over. ? -
