Interesting the putting together bit Clive, I remember seeing some were on the net, assembly instructions for the F 28.
No you don’t see F300s now or the F28s, One problem with older Hondas you can’t get parts to keep them running, so a lot will be scraped. I see on a parts list the shaft you mentioned is marked obsolete, mind you the price was still on it £98 00 so that would make anyone think if it’s worth doing. I see there’s quite a few parts still evaluable for the G150 engine apart from an exhaust, but that shouldn’t be to much of a problem. Is yours the earlier 2 speed or the model F400 that’s got two speed and reverse. When I used the F28 I was surprised what power the 67cc engine had. This G 150 is 144cc / 3.5 hp must up to the gob, I hope to find out.

Thanks for your words of wisdom gents, I do have a split pulley in the shed which might do the job, I will have a look when next out there…

I am familiar with this sort of belt as a larger version is used on some veteran motorcycles…

paul,these belts are common place in agricultural engineers another name for them is link belts. good hunting and happy new year

That figures Charlie, then you don’t have to disturb the drive shaft to fit and remove the belt… need to get one somewhere then, a job for the new year !!

hi Darren. my kick starter on the ATCO Saurus is slightly worn so I will rely on rope start for initial start up but if I find someone who can re tooth it will get it done. anyone know of such a fellow.?

ive undone a square peg bolt which looks to be a exit point of level checker and the oil weaped red in colour.

underneath the tractor there are pipes running all over the show ,, ha ha.
