vhgmcbuddyMemberThanks for that mickattwo, It’s handy to know another model with 22mm shaft when looking for rotor/tines. The F400 came with wheels but both thinner parts that separate are rusted out, I’m in no hurry for wheels so I will look out for some about the sales. I could bolt on or weld a suitable wheel to the drive centres from the old wheels. Took note of the bored bar could be another option.

vhgmcbuddyMemberIt was a case of having to use the boards or it would have sunk in the lawn because of the weight of it, also had to move all my machines into my other workshop because of 1/2″ of water covering the floor which was a pain in the ar**. But no where near as bad as some folks had it. Getting strait now and moving it all back in…

vhgmcbuddyMemberI recon production cost and battery storage would be part of the reason it didn’t catch on. It would be interesting to know the new price back then.

vhgmcbuddyMemberhi phil. this is one of those cases where you need to analise what can be done with it like you say possible woodland etc. if nothing better can be done with it,then I would say, but this is not gospel between 3000 and 4500. price also is determind by how much someone wants it so at this price per acre does this sound okay or is it too much. planting trees etc takes a long time to see a return for your pound, and investing may be better long term with regular income being generated.

vhgmcbuddyMemberThanks for your concerns. I had a word with the farmer this evening and told him that if anyone asked who was official, and not a man in a tranny,to say that it had household furniture in it and gardening equipment, and it belongs to a friend of his who is reorganising his house and gardens. sounds about right that explanation with a twist !!!! so to speak
