    Yes Stuart ,now I have changed the colour I am sure when combined with the red you will want to eat it, only joking ! the red is Tornado Red White is Light Ivory.

    Now that the paint has dried I am not happy with the colour . it looks like white primer. So into the paint store and came across some light ivory which I used on the Atco rotary 1957. nice classic colour and as the iseki is 35 years plus will go for that. here are a few photos.

    Just a thought but could the inlet valve be not seating properly thus causing a back pressure through the carb when the engine is turned over.

    Thanks for the interest. Sean has said he will have it we’ve just got to work out transport. If it all goes pear shaped I’ll resurect this thread.

    How about safety classes with tear off strips like the F1 helmet. Could try cling film one strip at a time and tear off when dirty. sounds alright in theory.

    It is a big lump but they are quite an impressive lump. I’d rather not break it for spares as there are always bits left that ‘might come in some day’! It won’t be scrapped either even if it’s worthless it’s too precious and I’d rather keep on tripping up over it than that.
