vhgmcbuddyMemberI’m looking forward to it Dave. I shan’t be bringing the Simar this time, as it needs a lot of work before it is used seriously again, but I plan on borrowing Rickys Howard 700 as well as bringing my Hayter 21 (Only because it will be 10 years almost to the day that I found it), so long as the new engine is built/fitted and assuming that there is an area of grass to cut this year. I might also bring the Barford and trailer, as I have finally got it running right.

vhgmcbuddyMemberApparently so Jonathan, although Neil has kindly gave me some postcodes of people near me he has sold too.
It would have been good to get the Scottish crawler owners together, but i imagine would be quite a task as it appears there’s not any on here. There was somebody on the old forum though called Thomas??

vhgmcbuddyMemberJohn Cruise is your best bet!
Can take a couple of days as he can be very busy & its only him running the place

vhgmcbuddyMemberExcellent, thanks all
Chris, If I don’t have any luck sourcing the ends, I’ll send it to John, We’ll see how I get on.
Charlie, as for how long, I can measure it tomorrow/Saturday, but currently I’m 250 miles away… Its very taut at the moment, as when I got it, one end of the cable broke, so I had to cut it down slightly. I suspect its about the same length as as 56 cable.
I’ve still got to sort some seals for it, my DIY ones last year failed badly. It might not end up coming to Weeley, I might give one of Rickys machines an airing, I’ve got very little stuff thats in working condition.
Cheers
