Many thanks to Dave and Robert for putting together another fantastic weekend, also the Weeley family for allowing us to take over the farm.
Next year is already marked on the calendar!

Dave, the tent has been checked and confirmed to be rodent free, so just need to get some provisions and we’ll be sorted!

As for the finish, normally I would say leave it alone, just oily rag, but given the rarity I think there is a good case for a factory finish restoration.

The term ‘working weekend’ (in my case anyway) was a bit of a misnomer, more like ‘not working’, ‘fix in the field’ or ‘startyerbas**rd’ weekend!!

Finally, after a long winter hiatus, I managed to get the first coat of paint on the Ransomes today (I am also blue due to an ill-timed gust of wind).

I don’t have a number, but he always used to advertise in T and M magazine, good old Google should come up with something.

I’ve had good service from a company called ‘diesel Bob’, if I recall, they are in Lancashire.
I remember sending him some injectors from an allis chalmers, he stripped them, then phoned with a breakdown of the parts needed and costs before doing anymore

I can’t see why it wouldn’t work, in principle. Someone is bound to have tried it at some point.
I do think stones/big bits of stick may well bring proceedings to a pretty abrupt halt!
