s1g, what size, width and tooth profile do the tyres have? We use belts, like a cam belt on machines where I work. When they are replaced they still have good teeth. I could salvage the old ones for anyone to use as tyres.
Welcome to the forum. Can you post a picture of your Bantam/200 this would help identify which it is. Note 3072KB file limit for photos etc, you may need to use software such as shrinkpic to reduce file size.
Stuart, wristpin, thanks for advice.
hitchinsm, not shown is the float bowl which clearly says WALBRO made in USA and the model letters LMG agree with WALBRO model numbers.
And plenty of noise I am thinking of bringing the SIMAR 56. Had a quick look through my JAP engine literature and could not identify engine, trouble is they made so many different models.
Great to see the two side by side, a before and after effect. Interesting to see MT20/21 cast on gear case; Monro Tiller used MT for their part numbers eg MT 1 was half the main gearbox case.
mickattwo the message a lot of us had from a spammer and the associated e mail notification sent by website had no request for bank details have you had something different?
Spammer deleted. Thanks for letting me know. This is the first time we have had a spammer use the message system. Very few get past the sign up process.
I had a problem with my Trusty Earthquake, started and ran well then started stopping and playing up. I suspected fuel, checked flow from tank to carb, that was OK. Took carb off and found water in fuel in float chamber. Cleaned float chamber, problem solved.
Another rarity found and saved, well done. Maybe a theme for a future event, machines with their original trailers, Trusty, Barford, Merry Tiller, Monro Tiller etc.
