    I’ve seen a lot of Jalos but never a Westo so I guess that they never changed the name on the casting. I’ve got a couple with the sticker on, as you say that would be easy to change…

    There’s a precedent for a Petter diesel, see P13 of 50 years of Garden Machinery… They considered the Petter was too heavy…

    I was looking at a Howard 220 in the auction on Saturday, it has an Aspera engine which was based on a Clinton….

    I’ve also got one for the West of England Game Fair, and this year it doesn’t clash with the AGM! It’s on the 19th &20th March 2016, held at the Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet, Somerset.

    I’ve had a look at my BSA manual, but the carb’s. they show are different but in the Tarpen type 42 generator manual there’s a diagram of a type 333 carb. See scan…

    Easy one for a motorcyclist, that hole is supposed to have the tickler in it, all Amal carb’s. have them. It’s a little spring loaded button, on cold starting you hold it down to flood the carb. I’ll scan a diagram….

    I think it’s a German Hako, badged by Agria, Howards sold them as well, under the name Howard Hako, they have a JLO engine.
