Thanks Steve as you know (and guyys at Ardingly 2013)I have been on look out for the ransomes flea beetle duster to show along side my ransomes vibro hoe. The planet Jr 35 seeder is the one which was used by, J T Lowe to copy and produce the jalo jiffy seeder. Think it will look good to be shown together with jalo history
Thanks go to Dave Clark for you help. Another question can anyone help with information about jalo spanner? I have one but was it supplied foc or as an extra?
Another great find today – a full page advert in a 1947 book few acre farms by J.J. Black, this is first information I seen of the early steel jalo, priced at 63 shillings delivered to your local railway station in a wooden crate
Many thanks go to Sam, Alan and Charlie for there prompt replies. I have today found a full page advert in a March 1955 amateur gardening magazine showing the cast aluminium wheel model . So did the press steel with rubber tyre model get launched. Still need some data of earlier all steel model.
Um you know my saying Charlie – I can’t read or write but I can drive a tractor! Me did book Travelodge week before we went to weeley for the correct week end in March. Well I hope did as I booked for other members too
As above 2014 really building up my jalo collection just home with two wheel jalo, lawn / leaf rake & lawn aerator, well pleased and only 50 miles away
