Yes mine arrived today.

I thought the date for vintage was set by the Society of Ploughmen and applies to all classes.
The introduction of more modern small tractors, if it happens, should be a new class leaving the current Vintage Horticultural class as it is, ie primarily 2 wheeled walk behind tractors etc. The list of eligible vintage tractors does not need amending. Perhaps the small tractors should compete in one of the existing tractor classes as do grey Ferguson tractors.

Yes you will need to remove the guards to see what you want.

The dog clutch consists of parts 372 and 374 operated by 382 which slides 374 in and out of mesh with 372.

If the flywheel is removed the magneto timing will need to be reset see below for adjusting points, timing instructions and how to remove flywheel.

I am not familiar with the internal workings of Allen Scythe but I do have an instruction manual with parts list in my literature collection. Looking at the illustration on page 25 it would appear the clutch mechanism on the model T is inside the gearbox, see photo below.
