    A friend recently showed me this unusual hand tool and asked if I had any idea what it was for.
    I personally have no idea so though I would share and see if anyone else could identify it.

    At a guess, something to do with an individual weed remover – below ground level

    Looks like some sort of scraper.
    Might be worth contacting the Tool and Trades History Society (TATHS)

    Maybe a root scraper for mangolds and sweeds before slicing
    for cattle food.
