    Good morning.
I am helping a friend to get the machine going again. It seem seized at this present time. I am trying to remove it I have removed the 4 nuts securing engine to air cooling unit plus exhaus, oil pump feed pipes and carburetor.
Does the air cooler come off with the engine or is it a keyed shaft onto the air cooler so it can be split separately. Thank you for your help on this query.
    Regards John.

Good morning. Got engine off now secured by several bolts to clutch housing also got the cylinder head off now. Piston seized to cylinder liner might take the route of breaking it for spares now.
    if parts are mechanically sound.
    regards Scooby.

It may be possible to unseize the piston, but it could take a while depending how badly seized it is.
