ParticipantYou say this is a national installer of tow bars and therefore I presume one that you engaged as a reputable name in the industry. Assuming this to be the case may I suggest contact with their head office or booking service as reporting this should result in the company taking remedial action to resolve the issues with your installation and a level of retraining for the operative. You never know–there may be compensation for your inconvenience.
We are a major national supplier within our industry and we always appreciate to know when an installation or product is not quite as it should be, and make an effort to put it right.December 16, 2013 at 7:48 am #4131stevewoollas
ParticipantThe two dogs in the picture were being measured for VHGMC dog collars and coats as they were feeling a little underdressed next to all the livered clothing. They are two members who are always welcome at the club stand.
Note our Chairs comments. Is that why his pork pies have a distinctive flavour?December 15, 2013 at 6:57 pm #4108stevewoollas
ParticipantJust had another look at the pictures in the brochure and the first one sowing seeds into the seed box appears to be the brass seeder section from the MYSTO number 3 seeder as in my photo. As the seeder wheel rotates against the wooden guide bar on the top of the seed box the seeder will sow seed into the box.

ParticipantCharlie, The single wheeled seed sower depicted in your first page of your new brochure is that of a MYSTO No3 seeder as per my photograph except mine does not have the seed coverer attached. This was purchased earlier in 2013 from one of Cheffins vintage sales. I believe the other two seeders on that page are also MYSTO seeders, there being similarities between all three models depicted–Steve

ParticipantHello Ivan,
I can confirm the Premier Inn at Tweskesbury is excellent for the overnight stay, although the company can be a bit dubious at times.
It is better now the staff are beginning to understand us.
Don’t let anyone book in until we have reserved our rooms or it may be full……..”and don’t forget the remote” –SteveNovember 20, 2013 at 11:28 am #3227stevewoollas
ParticipantHello Andre,
I supplied the photo you refer to. The Landmaster 34 is fitted with a cylinder (reel) mower and collection box. The rotovator attachment is placed at the rear of the machine. There is also a Tarpen attachment with flexible drive and hedgecutter attachment looped in front of the machine. A really attractive purchase which will make an interesting display for some lucky bidder.

ParticipantThat’s a timely reminder Ivan as the club shop will be present providing an excellent opportunity for members to update their wardrobe or buy that well deserved Christmas present…..even if they wrap it up and give it to themselves!!

ParticipantHave seen a design similar to this but on a larger scale. Ideal for use on muddy ground and worked well in a straight line but the trailer tended to push the tractor in a straight line when trying to turn a corner. Problem was resolved by using an all wheel steer tractor. In the instance I quote the outfit was home produced for light plant use. It now stands in a shed unused.

ParticipantThanks Paul.
Kevin, I said I would provide a little more info when I arrived home so here goes. These are an incredibly well made and robust unit, with strong cast wheels without being too heavy for practical use. Our hoe has a brass plate riveted to the left handle which reads:
PATENTED DUPLEX DISC HOE. PAT NO 567891. SUPPLIED BY CENTRAL GARAGE, REDDISH, STOCKPORT. No A/1927. MADE UNDER LICENCE BY HAYES ENG Co Ltd, SPEKE, LIVERPOOL.
All the duplex hoes I have seen have either the brass plate with this information on or the evidence that such a plate had existed.
I have never seen any literature on this product, does anyone have anything?
Ours is mid/dark blue with red wheels and I have also seen mid/dark green with red wheels.October 31, 2013 at 10:14 am #2216stevewoollas
ParticipantHello Kev,
The push hoe you have pictured is a Duplex. It is good to see you have one with both the hoes and discs still in place. I will provide some further information when I am back at home–SteveOctober 25, 2013 at 12:03 pm #1870stevewoollas
ParticipantThe Barford Atom saw bench is a desirable attachment and one we would like to find to accompany our Atom 15 and actually cut logs with it.
Our Atom 15 will be at Newark with a rotavator attachment–SteveOctober 16, 2013 at 11:54 am #1131stevewoollas
ParticipantHello, Well, I finally arrived although the route to get here did seem a little different from the instructions, but then “what do I know about computers?” However, it all appears a lot more comprehensive than before and I’m certain will be viewed as a great improvement when we all become used to it.
Now, where’s that instruction book.–Steve -
