ParticipantStarted my Simar up for the first time last weekend, as you said Rotavator, loud! With my home made exhaust pipe, I have to pour fuel inti the spark plug hole to get it started any hints on this chaps ? Seems it needs that to start pulling fuel in from the carb?

ParticipantMany thanks Charlie for that info, that has cleared that up for me very nicely I have only used normal two stroke oil up to now, should work out a little cheaper 👍
Rotavator, thank for you comments, I haven’t used the plough myself yet so it will be interesting to see if the stops are any use or not, your method sound good just to let the plough follow its own track in the furrow once you have opened, I have never ploughed with a single furrow before so it will be an interesting time, I am more used to a 7 furrow reversible so this will be good fun. I am looking forward to it and some help from you guys with my efforts.
Great having the help of you chaps and thanks for all your comments knappsterFebruary 17, 2020 at 11:27 am #33335knappster
ParticipantHi rotavator
Thanks for the info, the SAE 30 and 40 you refer to is the a 2 stroke oil or just ordinary oil ? I am a little confused as to what it is
Many thanks knappsterFebruary 17, 2020 at 11:22 am #33332knappster
