    there should be several skimmers about. i remember rows of them going through the great dorset sale in the mid 90’s, think they were ex bristol water works. there was also at least half a dozen sold out of bournmouth waterworks in the late 90’s, plus about ten tonne of spares, i remember having first refusal, but it was too big a deal for me in those days, and as i only had a 3.5 ton bedford that did 18 to the gallon, and being from norfolk, it was never going to be economical or practical

    you could ask them if they have recently supplied any one in this country, and see if they have any off cuts or a small spare bit

    i think you are right. engine dates to 1955. they seem to have dissapeared by 1957.

    have just aquired a 1955 model which is yellow with red wheels.

    the plough is original as far as i can acertain, i have a single version on my model A, and just reviewing some photos, it appears identical, or very similar to the one with the model E, that is in the museum at bicton agricultural college

    very nice, am jelous. different wheels and a turn over plough, neither of which i;ve seen before and different to the two i have.
