daveParticipantChris, I drove my Land rover round the course last week so a
small trailer should be in order.September 10, 2017 at 5:04 pm #26429
daveParticipantChris.
The Weeley Wander is planed for Sunday morning about 10.30 ish.
We are planning to start the ploughing competition about 11am
on Saturday followed by the ladies furrow drawing event Sat
pm. The rest of the weekend can be spent doing whatever you want
to do.I look forward to seeing you and your family again over
the weekend.September 8, 2017 at 11:43 am #26418
daveParticipantI have a MG2 service/handbook I can pdf download to you
if you need it.September 4, 2017 at 6:53 pm #26409
daveParticipantI spent all day today topping the Weeley playpen.
The field is looking good. Fred Margurem’s Marshal
dozer has made a good job of opening a new gateway
from the camping field to the playpen so there is not
a very long walk to get to the action. All we need now
are lots of members to come along and make it a good weekend.
Se you all on 17th/18th September.September 2, 2017 at 3:51 pm #26386
daveParticipantChris. I will be using my MG6.

daveParticipantNice one mate. I noticed that you left it till President Charlie
was at Dorset before the announcement was made. Just to give you breathing
space before the insults start to fly.
I look forward to seeing it fully restored in the near future.

daveParticipantI have just had a phone call from David Weeley.
This afternoon he took his Wheelhorse round the roadrun/
farm track circuit in second gear just ticking over it
took about half hour. I am looking forward to doing this
for a bit of fun. I hope that most of you that are coming
will have a go. If anybody with a walkbehind wants to
join in they will be very welcome, there will be a shorteded
route if needed.
If anybody needs to contact me before Weeley phone me
01376 340072 or email djclark89@btinternet.com

daveParticipantI was at Weeley this morning. The field is nice and soft/damp and is in good
condition. The field was drilled with feed rape/grass/turnip for sheep grazing.
It is a bit overgrown at the moment but I will be topping the field two weeks
before the event and the green mulch will have rotted down before we are let
loose to play on the field. There is a new gateway between the camping field
and the playpen so not a long walk for the smaller machines. As always we
will supply the barby so all you have got to do is turn up, bring along your
own food/drink and join in with us for a good Saturday evening chinwag.
Further updates nearer the weekend.August 16, 2017 at 8:28 pm #26292
daveParticipantFurther to my epistle this afternoon the Clifford mk4 could also
have a Sachs Diesel 500 engine fitted.August 16, 2017 at 3:54 pm #26289
daveParticipantAccording to my Clifford handbook you should have either a 500cc BSA
or 600cc JAP engine on your mk4 Clifford. The JAP engine is a 600cc
mark 111 direct starting type 8 petrol engine. If you can find
an engine I have a JAP handbook which I can scan in and send on to
you. I also have the Clifford handbook if needed. Give me a call.August 13, 2017 at 7:18 pm #26264
daveParticipantMany thanks to Peter Martin and Jaquie for all the work you did for us all.
A very good weekend, good company, good friends and good weather.
Robert and I had a good time even if the Clifford decided to be a girl and
sulk and would not start.
Next stop Weeley in September.
Dave.August 2, 2017 at 9:06 pm #26139
daveParticipantPeter. There good toilets on site there is a tap with drinking water and the hedges are fairly high
to hide your embarrassment. We would love to see you there, just bring along a Simar and make
some noise.August 1, 2017 at 7:07 pm #26123
daveParticipantAndy, A great idea. I am bringing my Clifford mk4 and a Mansley cultivator
for my Ransomes mg6.
Dave.July 28, 2017 at 1:10 pm #26075
daveParticipantDon’t forget that this year we are having a rotary cultivator
themed event on the Sunday along with lots more fun being
planed. Looking forward to meeting old friends and making
new ones.July 27, 2017 at 10:18 pm #26054
daveParticipantAll club members are welcome at Weeley. Check the next issue of the Cultivator
for all details or give me a phone call on 01376 340072.
