ParticipantNice one mate. I noticed that you left it till President Charlie
was at Dorset before the announcement was made. Just to give you breathing
space before the insults start to fly.
I look forward to seeing it fully restored in the near future.

ParticipantI have just had a phone call from David Weeley.
This afternoon he took his Wheelhorse round the roadrun/
farm track circuit in second gear just ticking over it
took about half hour. I am looking forward to doing this
for a bit of fun. I hope that most of you that are coming
will have a go. If anybody with a walkbehind wants to
join in they will be very welcome, there will be a shorteded
route if needed.
If anybody needs to contact me before Weeley phone me
01376 340072 or email djclark89@btinternet.com

ParticipantI was at Weeley this morning. The field is nice and soft/damp and is in good
condition. The field was drilled with feed rape/grass/turnip for sheep grazing.
It is a bit overgrown at the moment but I will be topping the field two weeks
before the event and the green mulch will have rotted down before we are let
loose to play on the field. There is a new gateway between the camping field
and the playpen so not a long walk for the smaller machines. As always we
will supply the barby so all you have got to do is turn up, bring along your
own food/drink and join in with us for a good Saturday evening chinwag.
Further updates nearer the weekend.August 16, 2017 at 8:28 pm #26292dave
ParticipantFurther to my epistle this afternoon the Clifford mk4 could also
have a Sachs Diesel 500 engine fitted.August 16, 2017 at 3:54 pm #26289dave
ParticipantAccording to my Clifford handbook you should have either a 500cc BSA
or 600cc JAP engine on your mk4 Clifford. The JAP engine is a 600cc
mark 111 direct starting type 8 petrol engine. If you can find
an engine I have a JAP handbook which I can scan in and send on to
you. I also have the Clifford handbook if needed. Give me a call.August 13, 2017 at 7:18 pm #26264dave
ParticipantMany thanks to Peter Martin and Jaquie for all the work you did for us all.
A very good weekend, good company, good friends and good weather.
Robert and I had a good time even if the Clifford decided to be a girl and
sulk and would not start.
Next stop Weeley in September.
