Can’t recommend this event enough. Really varied horticultural section, loads of other stuff, whole family went today and had a good time. Thanks to everyone involved for putting on such a friendly event.

Many thanks to Peter Martin and Jaquie for all the work you did for us all.
A very good weekend, good company, good friends and good weather.
Robert and I had a good time even if the Clifford decided to be a girl and
    sulk and would not start.
    Next stop Weeley in September.
    Dave.

Interesting to see the difference in shades of green on the 56 and 35.

You got me thinking Charlie. I know the 56 hasn’t been resprayed for sure. Not sure about 35. Owners didn’t think it had when I bought it. Both machines stored under cover all their lives. Overspray might indicate a respray, but you’ll see from the photos there’s overspray on the 56 identification plate and on the 35 mag. Clearly Monros were a bit sloppy. There’s no decal on the 35 miller cover. Lack of one might indicate resprayed, but I’m not sure they were all supplied with one. Do you know?
Machines only a few years different in age, so paint difference not age related. My gut feeling that Monros used whatever shade paint was available.

I think the colours are original, my 56 is a darker shade than the 35 like yours.
