560204 was delivered on 11-5-49 toG P Skripka, Smallholding, Sandy Lane, Billingham, Co Durham. Certainly not the original carb. When you say it does not sound like others, is it 4 stroking? Exhaust is not original either.
harpy you need to reduce your photo file size, this can be done using windows picture manager or software such as shrink pic. max file size is 3072 KB.

harpy, welcome to the forum. For carb spares you could try Burlen at Salisbury. If you have an early Gem be very careful engaging reverse as it was possible to engage reverse whilst still in a forward gear which does not do the gears any good and will strip teeth.
Looks like a really good selection of tractors and horticultural machinery. The photo of the Barford Atom tractor with wide axle has helped me identify something I have in my collection. It is the frame to support the long axle.
