Ouch. I guess with care the cam could be welded and machined. The photo with all the parts laid out is great, certainly shows people what is inside one of these mags.

It is one of the features to be added at a later date. We are concentrating on getting what we have at present working 100% first.

Darren, if you are still having a problem with viewing You Tube clips please tell which ones it is so I can let developers know.

I think the problem is NOVA is HMRC trying to make sure the correct duty has been or is paid on any import. When trying to register an old vehicle with the DVLA it needs to go through the NOVA process as they do not know if it is an old or new import, you may have imported an old vehicle. You will need to complete the paper form not the online NOVA form.

There are a couple of articles about NOVA in issue 5 2013 of the FBHVC newsletter available on line at their website.

Meadowfield, I think the rules have changed since you got yours registered if I have read correctly. Again there is information about this on the FBHVC website.

You should be able to see how it is held together by looking at the photo and diagram I posted. (Villiers manual sent via e mail to you today)

I believe the records with machine serial numbers are now held at MERL Reading, might be worth giving them a call.

I have an idea it may be screwed on. Is this the pulley that moves to take up slack in drive belt acting as the clutch? If so the photo below will reveal what I mean. This shows the jockey wheel operating arm and what the large pulley fixes to. You will need to split gearbox to get to the flats on the inner face of the screwed part. Cant remember but looking at photo it could be left hand thread.
