I still have my fathers old Xenoah (sure it spelt with an X) brushcutter. I will have to dig it out of the shed and confirm spelling, plus photograph it so we can add it to the gallery.
Didn’t know about the new exhibition hall. Will the horticultural exhibits be in the hall as the prospect of been outside at that time of year is not one I would look forward to.
I still use my dad’s old slasher quicker and easier than getting the strimmer out. But no way am I going to start digging the veg plot, Simar, Trusty, Monrotiller or Barford Atom for that job.
One other problem I had was identifying what model of Clinton engine it was. The plate with that information is missing. After a bit of research on the internet I found it stamped in the cowling it just needed the paint carefully removing. I now know it is a 498.
