Very sorry to hear the news of more break ins. Regarding the problem of identifying stolen items if recovered, a while back the FBHVC had an article about and an offer on Select DNA . This overcomes the problem of removed serial numbers as any item marked has a unique fingerprint which can be traced to the owner, might be worth looking at.
I still have my fathers old Xenoah (sure it spelt with an X) brushcutter. I will have to dig it out of the shed and confirm spelling, plus photograph it so we can add it to the gallery.
Didn’t know about the new exhibition hall. Will the horticultural exhibits be in the hall as the prospect of been outside at that time of year is not one I would look forward to.
I still use my dad’s old slasher quicker and easier than getting the strimmer out. But no way am I going to start digging the veg plot, Simar, Trusty, Monrotiller or Barford Atom for that job.
