Has anyone got a dismantled engine or even just a cylinder block that they can photograph the seating of the crankcase breather and measure the diameter of the ball. I’m trying to help someone on another forum who believes that he has the correct ball but it drops straight through into the valve chest. The image that’s been supplied doesn’t show what I would expect to see in the way of a seat for the ball. In the last few years I’ve rebuilt a couple of lightweights but didn’t experience any issues having used new balls from Paul at Meetens. Sadly that source of information motion is no longer available to us.
