Down the shed today looking at my gunsmith tractor looking forward to having a play this year when the penny dropped . How do you keep it straight 2 wheels you walk behind and steer with the arms 4 wheel keep the front wheel pulled against the land side 3 wheels look foward and back at the same time ???

I guess ploughing with a crawler has the same problem.

with crawlers you plough on land as opposed to in furrow. you use your last track mark from the opposite run as you mark depending on track width and furrow set up it depends where you run. as on my little ransomes I drive next to my previous track mark. so with a three wheeled row crop tactor you would drive with the rear wheel in the furrow as again depend on set up as to where. I would guess your front wheels will run some where near your last runs rear wheel mark. if that makes sense?
