    Hi,
I have purchased a 2 stroke Jap engine as a project for my 15 year old son to restore and document.

We purchased the engine due to its size and simplicity but it has become intriguing regarding its origin and age.
We initially got the engine running and it is now stripped completely for a full restoration.

We only purchased the engine not the machine it was originally attached too, with a little research we believe it was a rotovator but any help or direction in identifying or links to manuals spare parts etc would be greatly appreciated.
Numbers found on engine are as follows.
    Serial number on crankcases S80/0/33031/24
    Crankcase Number 20302F
    Flywheel cowl AJH 1958, 22089, 20963f.
Any help would be really appreciated.

The engine is a JAP model S80 which was fitted to the Gardenmaster 80. Attached are parts list for engine and manual for the Gardenmaster 80
